We opening up the CANvention Registration for VOLUNTEERS to help fill time slots that we need volunteers for. You do NOT have to be registered for CANvention to help! For a few over-achieving helpers we will get you a special free volunteer registration allowing you to participate in CANvention activites (and free beer).
We need volunteers beyond our board members for the following activities:
HELPING UNLOAD CARS AT HOTEL
We think this will be light duty for the ramp is adjacent to hotel. BCCA is promoting parking in the ramp and unloading from there which relieves congestion in front of the hotel check-in entrance. We need help to move people out of the check in parking quickly by assisting loading bell hop carts.
Tuesday 3-6 PM will be busiest we want 4 volunteers
Wednesday 3-6 (conflicts with Schells) we need 2 volunteers
OPEN HOUSE SECURITY
Steve Miners's house on Sunday (12-4) we need at least 3 volunteers
Mark Smith's House on Monday (2-7) - his can room is separate from bar area - we need at least 3 volunteer to watch the cans.
Jim Friesen Tuesday (1-4) we need at least 3 - same situation as Mark's
CHAPTER PROMOTION/SALES TABLE (at entrance to trade floor) - Promote our membership, shows, sell stuff we have, and run a 50/50 raffle. This will be with Schells Border Batch as well. Public comes in Friday and Saturday we want to catch to promote Guzzle 'n Twirl.
Thursday 9-5 PM we need 6 volunteers in three shifts (2 at all times)
Friday 11-5 we need 4 volunteers in two shifts
Saturday 8-1 we need 4 volunteers in two shifts
